In my Academy, we can train eight classes a week. Two of them are no gi. I'm doing it three times a week so far. For now, it's enough. I need a one-day rest in between. No gi I haven't done yet. There are mainly young lads there.
I'm fortunate that in my Academy, there are a couple of practitioners who are 40+ and even some who are 60 and 70+.
In my last class, I had five rounds of rolling, with varying success, but overall, it was okay. Initially, we performed some sweep techniques after the warm-up.
I feel happy that I started Jiu-Jitsu. After years of practicing various styles of Karate, Wing Chun, etc., this is something totally different and a surprise to me, as I had always had an aversion to grappling martial arts.
Jiu-Jitsu is like chess - a strategic game of attacks, defenses, and counterattacks.
