As I wrote in my previous post, I’m not in my hometown and won’t be attending my Jiu-Jitsu classes during the summer. Still, I stay active almost every day.
Over the last month, I’ve done 750 pull-ups. Every other day, I also do shoulder exercises because shoulder pain limited my progress in BJJ last season. Of course, I train the rest of my body as well.
Yesterday, I did another pull-up session, followed by my shoulder exercises, and then spent some time paddling on my SUP.
Not everything I eat is perfectly healthy, but I try to eat as many nutritious foods as possible and definitely avoid highly processed food whenever I can.
Yesterday's dinner was homemade rye bread with a homemade tuna spread made from tuna, low-fat cottage cheese, and Mediterranean herbs. I bake the bread myself. It’s not difficult, and one loaf lasts for several days. Making the tuna spread couldn’t be simpler.
A healthy, protein-rich meal — perfect after a workout.
I’m looking forward to getting back on the mats in September. Hopefully, with stronger shoulders, a little better fitness, and the same enthusiasm I had when I left.
