Only three classes this month — it takes its toll. Due to two business trips this month, I couldn’t train more, and last Wednesday I really felt that something was missing. I did some burpees, push-ups, and core training in the hotel room, but it wasn’t enough.
Anyhow, I had four sparring rounds during the last training session. I even had enough energy left to do some pull-ups at the end. But while rolling, my technique wasn’t at its best. I was back in survival mode. I survived, but I wasn’t happy with my performance.
That’s how it is. A father and husband who also has to work can’t always be fully present at training. And we have to accept that — and keep moving forward.
