On Monday, after the usual warm-up, we practiced the Koshi-guruma throw for the first time — step by step. It went quite well on my side, both in executing the throw and in taking the fall properly.
After that, we worked with a partner: first three submissions from guard, then three from side control, three from back control, and three from mount.
It was a great exercise to see what we actually remember from everything we’ve practiced over the past few months. The goal was to perform each technique with full technical accuracy.
At the end, I had four rounds of four minutes each of free rolling.
All in all, it was a very good training session, and this time I can say I did quite well.
